3 TOP REASONS WHY A SALES FUNNEL WILL INCREASE THE NUMBER OF CLIENTS THAT PURCHASE FROM YOU

Marketing your business online can be overwhelming and challenging. I totally get it because just a couple short years ago I was there too. I was running around like a chicken with my head cut off desperately trying to cut out a place for myself as an expert in the online marketing world.

I was consistently posting on social media, creating compelling free offers, (one right after the other), and even designing programs that I thought my ideal clients would be attracted to. But none of it seemed to get any real traction.

I would make sales and increase my list as long as I was promoting my brains out but the minute I took a breather or went on vacation to spend time away reconnecting with my husband, the momentum would stop.

I knew there had to be a better way because people making a lot more money and running much bigger businesses than I was were doing it and they didn’t seem to be up all night clicking away on their computers.

That’s when I discovered the concept of a sales funnel. A true blue, list growing, lead nurturing, client attracting sales funnel.

When I applied myself to learning all I could and then implementing it into my business, I started to see a shift take place. When I made my first sale of $47 from an automated follow up email sequence that was running in the background of my business I was hooked! And you should be hooked too!!!

Let’s jump into the top 3 reasons why a sales funnel will increase the number of clients that purchase from you.

Reason #1: On average it takes 7-12 touch points before a new email subscriber will purchase from you. Did you know that?

With that in mind wouldn’t it be nice to speed up the process of how quickly you connect with them the next 7-12 times, which will get them closer to a buying decision?

When building a proper sales funnel you should program 5-7 prewritten emails into your email management system that will be delivered on autopilot over a period of 2-3 weeks.

Those emails, in conjunction with your regular weekly blog content, will get you to the 7-12 touches really quickly thereby getting to the sale much faster.

Reason #2: The content of the emails you write and program into your autoresponder is extremely significant.

It is through those emails that you will set the stage to actually promote your paid program, product or service.

You will do this through case studies, industry facts and figures that support what you offer and of course testimonials from past clients are always a great way to display your expertise and help a potential purchaser make the decision to become a paying client.

Reason #3: Your sales funnel needs to be a very intentional piece of your marketing plan.

It’s like having a sales associate, acting on your behalf that is spreading the benefits of working with you 24/7. Sounds good, right?

The purpose of your sales funnel autoresponder series is to help your new subscriber get to know you better, learn more about what you have to offer and get clear on the benefits your programs offer.

When all of those pieces are in place you will begin to make sales, you will have more clients hiring you and you will see your business move into the profit zone. It takes some initiative up front but it is so worth it when you see the sales coming in even when you’re not doing an official promotion.
